ClaFi Manuals
One manual per subsystem, each complete on its own
The manuals
These are the manuals of ClaFi, the Clarity First framework. Each one covers a subsystem from the caller's side: what it is, what a caller writes, and the rules that hold. They are listed in a reading order, and every one stands on its own.
| Manual | Covers |
|---|---|
| Platform | The object an application is built against, and what it owns |
| Layout | Where everything ends up, and why |
| Colour | The theme states hues; every colour is decided where it is used |
| Graphics | One canvas, drawn by the CPU or by the GPU |
| Events | How one object tells others that something happened |
| Actions | A named command: what it says, what it draws, what it does |
| Grid | Building grids was never that simple |
| Writing Text | One string and a list of markers |
| Text in Controls | A layout somebody else already built |
| Dom | A schema-first representation of any hierarchical data, with its file formats |
| Configuration format | Hierarchical, line-oriented text for configuration trees |
| FAQ | The question, the answer, and the reasoning folded away |
